Concrete and Grass Music Festival in Mears Park

The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra

Mears Park is bound by
Wacouta
& Sibley Streets on the
East and West, and 6th &
5th Street on the North and
South.
55101

The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra is hosting a music
festival
in Mears Park September! The festival will feature
performances by the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra as well as
the best jazz, rock, and folk musicians in the Twin Cities.

Because these are big name acts and because the festival is
free, we anticipate a very large number of people to
attend.

Volunteers will be primarily responsible for being visible
and for giving out information. The number one question
will probably be "Where are the restrooms?"
followed by "What's going on here?"
Volunteers will also be available to tell people where to
go
for help, how to find lost family members, lost cell phones
and keys, and when the next band will be starting.

All we ask of our volunteers is that they be energetic and
approachable. They are the first point of contact between
anyone attending the event and our organization - we need
well-informed, enthusiastic people in order to make this
festival happen.

The dress is casual, capris are fine.
